Cardiff City will reportedly try to keep manager Malky Mackay at the club amid reported interest from Norwich City.

Cardiff City are reportedly prepared to refute any approaches for manager Malky Mackay.

The Scotsman is believed to be a target for Norwich City, who are now in the hunt for a new boss following the departure of Paul Lambert to Aston Villa.

Despite reported interest in the former Canaries defender, it is understood that the Championship club will do all that they can to keep Mackay at the Cardiff City Stadium, according to The Express.

The 40-year-old had a positive first season with the Bluebirds after narrowly missing out on the Carling Cup trophy as well as leading his side to the Championship play-offs.
