Birmingham City have announced the signing of defender Shane Lowry on a free transfer.
The Australian, 26, joins the Blues on a one-year deal after Leyton Orient's relegation to League Two last term triggered a release clause in his contract.
Prior to joining Orient last summer, Lowry, who can play at left-back or central defence, enjoyed a three-year spell at Millwall.
Lowry, who won two Under-21 caps for the Republic of Ireland, began his career with Aston Villa.
City sit seventh in the Championship table after winning two and drawing two of their first four games.
