Paul Lambert is confident that his Aston Villa side will be able to entertain fans this season.

New boss Lambert appreciates that the Villa faithful demand an improvement on last season's display under Alex McLeish.

Lambert is happy with his squad and believes that they will be able to deliver.

He told Sky Sports News: "I think you have to try and play with some style and play the right way. Football's not set in stone, its everyone's prerogative but we will definitely try and entertain.

"The team knows they are under pressure to perform but there is no doubt we have some very good players here."

Lambert will begin the new campaign away to West Ham United on August 18.
