Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor reveals that he has been impressed with how the club's summer signings have settled in.

Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has insisted that the club's new signings have not been fazed by the challenge of playing for a Premier League club.

Manager Paul Lambert has brought in several players from the Football League and abroad during the summer, and Agbonlahor has revealed that he has been impressed with their contribution in the early part of the season.

The 25-year-old said: "The more games they play, they will learn and get better, and I think that is showing already.

"It is good from the gaffer's point of view that he has faith in these players and, especially in training, people have done really well.

"They don't look fazed by the pressure. They have just come in and looked as if they have played 30 or 40 games."

Aston Villa are currently 16th in the Premier League table.
