Emile Smith Rowe will make his first Premier League start since May 2022 in Arsenal's clash with Sheffield United.
The England international has not featured from the off in the top flight since their 2-0 loss to Newcastle United at St James' Park 17 months ago but has benefitted from rotation after the Gunners' Champions League win over Sevilla.
Smith Rowe is one of five new faces in the Arsenal XI for the visit of the Blades, and his inclusion means that captain Martin Odegaard is demoted to the bench for a well-earned rest, while Kai Havertz also comes into the midfield in place of Jorginho.
As expected, Eddie Nketiah replaces the injured Gabriel Jesus in between Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka, who wears the captain's armband for Mikel Arteta's side at the Emirates Stadium.
Oleksandr Zinchenko is also promoted back to the first XI ahead of Takehiro Tomiyasu, while Gabriel Magalhaes drops out of the starting lineup too, allowing Jakub Kiwior to partner William Saliba in front of David Raya.
Meanwhile, Sheffield United boss Paul Heckingbottom has made a pair of attacking changes, replacing Oli McBurnie and Cameron Archer with Anis Slimane and Rhian Brewster.
McBurnie - who sustained a groin injury in last weekend's loss to Manchester United - is not involved, while ex-Arsenal defender Auston Trusty starts in the visitors' four-man backline.
