Arsenal assistant manager Steve Bould has suggested that Arsene Wenger is not even thinking about walking away from his position with the Gunners due to his 'hunger to win football games'.
Wenger has a contract with Arsenal until the end of next season, but it has been suggested that the Frenchman could step down this summer following another difficult campaign.
The capital club are currently sixth in the Premier League table - 13 points off the top four - but could yet secure Champions League football for the 2018-19 campaign with a Europa League triumph.
Bould stood in for the unwell Wenger at Thursday morning's press conference ahead of the Stoke City match, and the former Arsenal centre-back revealed that the Gunners boss was still as determined as ever.
"Absolutely, he is remarkable. Behind closed door I've never met anybody who is as hungry and determined to win football games. It's as big as I've ever seen," Bould told reporters.
Arsenal will welcome CSKA Moscow in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final next week.
