AC Milan have reportedly rejected a bid from Newcastle United for French forward M'Baye Niang.
The 20-year-old joined Milan from Caen in 2012, but has still not scored a league goal for the Serie A giants.
Niang has impressed during loan spells for Montpellier and Genoa, however, where his performances are believed to have attracted interest from the Premier League.
According to the Newcastle Chronicle, Newcastle launched a bid for the attacker, but Milan were quick to reject the offer.
Niang scored five goals in 12 league games for Genoa in the second half of last season.
