AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri suggests that the Italian outfit are considering a move for former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.

AC Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri has hinted that the club are interested in signing Shanghai Shenhua striker Didier Drogba.

The former Chelsea hitman, who moved to the Chinese Super League side last summer, is believed to be eager to return to Europe.

"A player like Drogba would certainly improve both the technical level and self-esteem of the team," BBC Sport quotes Allegri as saying.

The 34-year-old is currently representing the Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa.
