Borussia Dortmund are reportedly finalising a five-year deal for Karim Adeyemi and are confident of winning the race for the Red Bull Salzburg striker.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly prepared a five-year deal for Red Bull Salzburg starlet Karim Adeyemi.

The Bundesliga outfit are expected to win the race for the signature of the 20-year-old, who has been linked with a host of top European clubs in the past few months.

Liverpool, Barcelona, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been credited with an interest in Adeyemi, who has 18 goals and four assists to his name from 29 games in all tournaments this term.

Now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Dortmund have a five-year contract offer on the table for the striker and are optimistic of securing his services for next season.

A deal is yet to be wrapped up, with Romano adding that a few issues still need to be ironed out, but Adeyemi has been earmarked as Dortmund's priority since the impending arrival of Niklas Sule was confirmed.

Adeyemi has totalled 28 goals and 19 assists in 79 appearances for Salzburg since arriving in 2018 and has netted against Lille and Wolfsburg in the Champions League this term.
