Chelsea trio doubtful for Cardiff City match

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho reveals that Frank Lampard, John Terry and Samuel Eto'o could all miss the club's trip to Cardiff City on Sunday.

Chelsea trio Frank Lampard, John Terry and Samuel Eto'o could all miss the club's final game of the season away at Cardiff City.

All three players have been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer, and when asked about their chances of being available for the fixture in Wales, Mourinho stated that that their respective issues would "normally" keep them out.

The 51-year-old told reporters: "Frank Lampard is ill and in bed. Samuel Eto'o got an injury in training, John Terry yesterday. Normally all of them are out."

Chelsea require a point to guarantee automatic qualification for the Champions League next season, but even a defeat at the Cardiff City Stadium would require an 18-goal swing with Arsenal needing to win at Norwich City.
