Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil overcomes a knee injury to make the starting lineup for the Premier League fixture with Chelsea.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil has recovered from a knee injury to make the starting lineup for the Premier League fixture with Chelsea.

Ozil missed the 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion and had been considered a doubt for Wednesday's London derby, but the German playmaker is able to take his place in Arsene Wenger's side.

However, Laurent Koscielny misses out through injury, leading to a recall to the team for Rob Holding, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles replaces Sead Kolasinac at left wing-back.

As for Chelsea, head coach Antonio Conte gives starts to both Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard after they were only named on the bench for the 5-0 triumph over Stoke City.

Andreas Christensen also comes back into the starting lineup, with Antonio Rudiger having to make do with a place among the replacements.

Conte's fourth and final alteration sees Danny Drinkwater starting the game on the bench, with Tiemoue Bakayoko returning to the centre of midfield.

Arsenal: Cech; Chambers, Mustafi, Holding; Bellerin, Xhaka, Wilshere, Maitland-Niles; Ozil, Sanchez; Lacazette

Chelsea: Courtois; Azpilicueta, Christensen, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Bakayoko, Fabregas, Alonso; Hazard; Morata
