Wales have claimed the Triple Crown at Twickenham for the first time in their history with a 19-12 win over England.

The visitors were dominant in the opening exchanges but went behind thanks to Owen Farrell's penalty. They drew level soon after when Leigh Halfpenny kicked over.

Farrell and Halfpenny exchanged kicks again before Farrell's third penalty of the match gave the hosts a 9-6 lead at the break.

The number 10 put another kick between the posts soon after the restart, while Halfpenny's third penalty kept Wales on the tails of their opponents.

Halfpenny launched another kick between the posts with eight minutes to play to draw his side level with England.

The only try of the match was scored with five minutes left as replacement Scott Williams turned over the ball before chasing his own kick and going over. Halfpenny kicked the extras to seal the win.

There was late drama as David Strettle looked to have gone over for an England try in the corner. However, the video referee cancelled out the score due to the ball not looking as if it was grounded properly.
