Report: Wolverhampton Wanderers leading race for £25m-rated Franck Kessie

AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie is reportedly keen on a move to the Premier League, with Wolverhampton Wanderers considered the frontrunners to sign him.

Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly leading the race for AC Milan's £25m-rated midfielder Franck Kessie.

The Ivory Coast international only joined Milan on a permanent deal last summer following two years on loan from Atalanta.

Kessie has featured regularly for the Italian club this season, clocking up 20 starts and two substitute appearances in Serie A, but Tuttomercato reports that he could be on his way out in the coming months.

It is claimed that the 23-year-old wants to play in the Premier League and Wolves are one of the sides willing to make a move happen.

Wanderers are said to be at the front of the queue to sign Kessie, and his valuation is unlikely to prove a major stumbling block in discussions.
