Stephen Hunt says that Premier League players deserve a winter break.

Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Stephen Hunt has said that Premier League players deserve a winter break.

Hunt, who will play for the Republic of Ireland in Euro 2012, believes that a break would boost players come major tournaments.

"The FA have got to use their brains. All it takes is ten days off," Hunt said.

"I'm absolutely 100% for a break. Every other club in Europe does it. We are the bravehearts who carry on playing."

Wolves are currently 17th in the Premier League with 16 points from 18 games.
