Report: Watford reject £30m Everton bid for Abdoulaye Doucoure

Watford are believed to have rejected an offer worth around £30m from Premier League rivals Everton for midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Watford have reportedly rejected an offer worth around £30m from Everton for Abdoulaye Doucoure.

The 25-year-old had an impressive season at Vicarage Road last time out, scoring seven goals and picking up four assists in 37 Premier League games.

Doucoure is believed to have been a target for several leading Premier League clubs, such as Manchester United, over the course of the season.

According to French publication RMC Sports, the Toffees have offered Watford an initial £25m with an additional £5m in add-ons for Doucoure, but the bid was turned down.

Doucoure has been on Watford's books since his move from Rennes in February 2016.
