Febian Brandy to assess options

Walsall striker Febian Brandy reveals that he is keeping his "options open" as his contract with the club comes to an end.

Former Manchester United striker Febian Brandy has admitted that he is yet to decide whether he will leave Walsall at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old joined Walsall on a free transfer last summer, but his current deal will expire at the end of the season, meaning that he is now free to discuss terms with interested parties.

"I am out of contract in the summer and I will wait and see what happens between now and then," Brandy told Sky Sports News.

"I would be happy to sit down and discuss a new deal at Walsall as the manager took a risk on me last summer and I think that I have repaid him this season. I have really enjoyed it at Walsall and all the lads have made me feel very welcome and we will just see what happens.

"I am keeping my options open and I just want to concentrate on playing well for the rest of the season and doing my best for Walsall. I have got aspirations to play as high as possible for as long as possible."

Brandy has scored six goals this season.
