Sweden confirmed their Euro 2016 qualification playoff spot with a comfortable 2-0 victory over visitors Moldova in Group D this evening.
Erik Hamren's charges started in lively fashion and they might have gone ahead after just three minutes, only for John Guidetti to see his adroit shot cannon back off a post.

The home side continued to dominate the early stages, and they came close again through Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who almost flicked home Kim Kallstrom's corner.
The miss was not to matter too much, however, as Ibrahimovic returned after 24 minutes to latch onto Mikael Lustig's chipped through-ball, before rounding Ilie Cebanu to make it 1-0.
The hosts looked to cement the win straight after the interval and they made it 2-0 after 48 minutes, when Erkan Zengin produced a memorable finish to catch out a stranded Cebanu who found himself short of his goal line.
Sweden had two decent chances to add a third in the latter stages of the game, but Cebanu produced two saves to deny both Ibrahimovic and Guidetti as the contest finished 2-0.
