Swansea City captain Ashley Williams has praised Wilfried Bony's recent form in front of goal.
The club-record signing from Vitesse Arnhem has scored nine times in his last 11 appearances for the Swans.
Williams has now highlighted Bony's contribution to the team in the absence of the injured Michu.
"We had Michu's goals last season but he has been out for a while and Bony has stepped up for us," the defender told the club's official website.
"I think confidence is a big thing, particularly for strikers, and you can see the confidence he is playing with.
"We love him and he is involved in the build-up a lot more now. The main thing is confidence and he's getting that from finishing his chances."
Bony has scored a total of 19 goals in all competitions for Swansea this season.
