Marc Wilson insists that he is willing to play anywhere on the pitch for Stoke City following Robert Huth's suspension.

Stoke City's Marc Wilson has insisted that he will take up positions anywhere on the pitch to help the Potters.

The 25-year-old is expected to fill the void left behind by Robert Huth, who will be suspended for matches against West Ham United, Newcastle United and West Bromwich Albion.

"I will play anywhere for the team and do a job," Sky Sports News quotes Wilson as saying. "There was a time at Portsmouth when all the centre-halves were out and I played about 20 games there."

Wilson recently returned from a four-month layoff with a broken leg.
