Stoke City boss Mark Hughes hopes Hull City will be "fragile"

Stoke City boss Mark Hughes hopes that Hull City will be "fragile" this weekend following their 6-1 defeat to Bournemouth.

Stoke City manager Mark Hughes has claimed that his team should try to exploit Hull City this weekend following their opponents' mauling at Bournemouth.

The Tigers were beaten 6-1 by the Cherries, just two days after Mike Phelan signed a deal to become the club's permanent manager.

Stoke head to the KCOM Stadium with a three-match unbeaten run in the top flight, but they currently sit in the Premier League relegation zone, one point below Hull.

"Hull will want a reaction after Bournemouth. The supporters will demand one. It's down to how well they're able to bounce back," Hughes said in Friday's press conference.

"It is an opportunity for us, for sure. We want to ask questions of them and see if they are fragile. We are three unbeaten now and going into the game on the back of a good win against Sunderland. We are ready and we are confident."

Hull have lost their last four league games.
