Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly accepted that Toby Alderweireld will leave the club at some point in the future.
The North London outfit have just moved to trigger a 12-month option in Alderweireld's contract, but the Belgium international can now be signed by another club for just £25m.
According to ESPN, Alderweireld currently has little interest in discussing a new deal and Spurs have acknowledged that will lead to the sale of the 29-year-old.
Alderweireld cost just £11.5m in 2015, and the centre-back has gone on to score six goals in 135 appearances for Spurs in all competitions.
Spurs will double their money if Alderweireld leaves the club in the summer, although any approach would need to be made by the middle of August.
