Aymen Abdennour agent confirms Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United bids

The agent of AS Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour reveals that Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur have both made offers for the Tunisia international.

Aymen Abdennour's agent has revealed that Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United are among a string of clubs that have made bids for the AS Monaco defender.

The Tunisia international has been linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 side this summer, having been part of the strongest defence in the French top flight this season.

Abdelkader Jilani told FootMercato.net: "Given the season that Aymen had, there is interest from all over the world. We have received calls from clubs and sporting directors, but for now nothing [has been decided].

"Clubs like Valencia, Newcastle, Tottenham, Inter Milan and Wolfsburg have called. We have received concrete offers from these teams, and they are really interested in Aymen."

The 25-year-old joined Monaco last year following a loan spell with the team from Toulouse.
