Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly already begun the process of identifying potential replacements for Jose Mourinho, with the club's current manager coming under increasing pressure.
Spurs suffered a 2-1 defeat to Arsenal in the North London derby last weekend before losing 3-0 at Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League on Thursday night to exit the competition 3-2 on aggregate.
Mourinho will allegedly be relieved of his duties at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium if he is unable to deliver a top-four finish in this season's Premier League.
According to the Daily Mail, senior figures behind the scenes are of the opinion that RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann would be the ideal replacement for the Portuguese.
Nagelsmann managed Hoffenheim between 2016 and 2019 before joining Leipzig, and he led the Bundesliga side to the semi-finals of last season's Champions League.
The 33-year-old, who would allegedly be available for a salary in the region of £6m a year, has won 50 of his 84 games in charge of the Red Bulls.
