Tottenham Hotspur defender Danny Rose is adamant that his side have to take advantage of being at home in the first leg of their Capital One Cup semi-final against Sheffield United.
The Blades have upset West Ham United and Southampton on their way to the last four of the competition, and the 24-year-old believes that it is crucial that his team get off to a good start at White Hart Lane to avoid the same fate as their fellow Premier League sides.
Rose told the club's official website: "We can't take this next game against Sheffield United lightly if we want to do that. They've beaten a handful of Premier League sides in cup competitions recently so we've got to be at our best to get past them.
"I'm glad that we've got the home game first so we can hopefully get a good result, because we know it will be a difficult game at Bramall Lane.
"We all know that anything can happen in one game of football but over two legs our class throughout the whole squad should shine through so we need to make sure we get the job done over the two games."
Mauricio Pochettino's side face off against the League One outfit in the first leg later today.
