Fernando Llorente finalises switch from Juventus to Sevilla

Sevilla announce the arrival of former Juventus striker Fernando Llorente on a three-year contract.

Sevilla have completed the signing of Spanish striker Fernando Llorente after he left Juventus.

The Europa League winners confirmed on their website that the 30-year-old had passed his medical and signed a three-year contract that includes a buyout clause of €20m (£14.5m).

Llorente, who will wear the No.24 for Sevilla, recently reached an agreement with Juve to end his contract two years after he joined on a four-year deal.

He scored 23 league goals in two years to help the Old Lady win Serie A both seasons but now returns to La Liga, where he previously played for Athletic Bilbao.

Last night Llorente thanked Juve fans for their support ahead of completing his medical with Sevilla.
