Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane selects Isco ahead of Gareth Bale for tonight's Champions League last-16 first leg against Paris Saint-Germain.

Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has selected Isco ahead of Gareth Bale for tonight's Champions League last-16 first leg against Paris Saint-Germain at the Bernabeu.

The Welshman was not included in the first XI that earned a 5-2 victory over Real Sociedad last weekend, and he remains out of the lineup.

Saturday's hat-trick hero Cristiano Ronaldo will go up against his former Barcelona rival Neymar, who made the switch to PSG last summer for a world-record fee close to £200m.

Overall, Zidane has made three changes to his team, with Nacho coming in to replace the suspended Dani Carvajal, while Casemiro comes in for Marco Asensio.

As mentioned, Isco has been given the nod to start, and will replace Lucas Vazquez, with Ronaldo and Karim Benzema keeping their places in attack.

As for PSG, two changes have been made as former Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra replaces Thiago Motta, who is not in the squad.

Edinson Cavani comes into the attacking lineup alongside Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, which means that Angel Di Maria misses out.
