Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric has returned from international duty with a hip injury.
The 37-year-old played the entirety of Croatia's two UEFA Nations League fixtures in the international break, scoring the opener in Sunday's 3-1 victory over Austria.
Modric may have helped his side secure a place in the Nations League semi-finals, but he is set for a short spell on the sidelines.
According to Marca, Modric has returned to Real Madrid with a hip problem that is set to rule him out for eight to 10 days.
As a result of the injury issue, the Croatia international is likely to miss La Liga meetings with Osasuna and Getafe and a Champions League game against Shakhtar Donetsk.
While Modric will be absent for Sunday's home match against Osasuna, Karim Benzema is expected to be involved after recently making his return to training.
