Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp is reportedly planning to launch a January bid for Rennes striker Mevlut Erding.
Only Aston Villa have scored fewer Premier League goals than QPR this season and Redknapp is determined to bolster his side's attacking options during next month's transfer window.
Erding, who has been capped 19 times by Turkey at senior international level, has scored 10 goals in 29 Ligue 1 appearances for Rennes.
The 25-year-old is valued at around £6m by his current employers and, according to The People, Redknapp is confident of securing his services.
Redknapp is also expected to recall DJ Campbell, who has scored 10 goals in 16 Championship appearances while on loan at Ipswich Town this season.
