Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser al-Khelaifi dismisses suggestions that the club could sack coach Carlo Ancelotti at the end of the season.

Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser al-Khelaifi has said that Carlo Ancelotti will remain as the club's coach next season.

The Italian's future has been the subject of speculation in recent months, with Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini and Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho both reported to be replacing him at PSG in the summer.

"He's got a year left on his contract," Al-Khelaifi told L'Equipe. "I don't understand why everyone's talking about Carlo Ancelotti's future.

"We're seven points ahead of Marseille [at the top of Ligue 1], we're in the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the Coupe de France. That's good work.

"If we were second or third in Ligue 1, I'd understand that questions were being asked about his future at PSG. That's not the case. Our objective is to win the title. The only mistake we could make is not to win it."

Ancelotti was appointed the PSG coach in December 2011.
