Norwich City boss Chris Hughton confirms Harry Kane progress

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton reveals that on-loan striker Harry Kane could make a return to action from a metatarsal injury in the coming weeks.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has revealed that loan striker Harry Kane is closing in on a return to fitness.

The England Under-19 international, who moved to Carrow Road on a temporary deal from Tottenham Hotspur, has been out of action since September after suffering a broken metatarsal.

"Harry has completed about five days training in total, four of them with Tottenham," BBC Sport quotes Hughton as saying. "He is at the stage now where he has to keep developing his fitness. We have to determine over this next week or so when he is available for games."

The Canaries are preparing to take on Wigan Athletic in the Premier League this weekend.
