Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul dismisses the idea that there is a communication breakdown at the club.

Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul has insisted that there is no communication problem at the club.

The Magpies have assembled a large French-speaking contingent, having added the likes of Yoan Gouffran, Mathieu Debuchy and Moussa Sissoko to a squad that already contained Yohan Cabaye and Papiss Cisse among others.

Krul though, says that he does not care where they are from, just that they are good enough to play for Newcastle.

"It's not a problem they're all from France," Krul told the Daily Star. "I'm just impressed with the quality.

"We could have 10 French or 10 Dutch players as long as they're good players, and I think they are. Five signings is more than I expected and we'll definitely kick on."

The 24-year-old also said that the squad will help the new players to settle in.

He added: "If my centre-halves speak French, I have to make sure I can communicate with them and that will take a few weeks.

"I'll teach them the most important words like 'Away', 'Man on' and 'keeper's ball'"

Newcastle take on Aston Villa this evening at Villa Park.
