Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal will wait until December before deciding whether to send James Wilson out on loan.
The 19-year-old was initially expected to join a Championship club in order to gain first-team experience, but his Dutch boss has claimed today that he has "doubts".
Derby County, Cardiff City and Wolverhampton Wanderers were touted as potential interested parties in Wilson, but they will have to wait on Van Gaal's decision.
"I have talked with him, and I think we wait until December," said the United boss in today's press conference.
Wilson, who is yet to make an appearance this season, has scored four senior goals for the Red Devils.
