Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic is reportedly not a transfer target for Roma.
The 33-year-old was a regular for the Red Devils during the 2020-21 campaign, making 36 appearances in all competitions, including 20 outings in the Premier League.
The Serbia international is no longer a guaranteed starter for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side, though, and Roma have been linked with a move for the midfielder this summer.
Matic has a strong relationship with Roma boss Jose Mourinho, having played under the Portuguese at both Chelsea and Man United.
However, according to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Serie A giants are not considering a move for the Serbian before the transfer window closes for business.
Matic has made 157 appearances for the 20-time English champions since arriving from Chelsea in 2017, and he still has two years left to run on his contract with the club, having signed an extension last July.
