Ander Herrera is reportedly considering quitting Manchester United midway through the season after growing frustrated at his lack of first-team opportunities.
The Spanish midfielder is due to be out of contract at Old Trafford next summer and is therefore free to discuss terms with foreign clubs from January.
According to Metro, a new deal from United has not been forthcoming and Herrera is now weighing up all of his options.
Herrera, a part of the Red Devils' squad since 2014, has been given a combined 69 minutes of playing time during the 2018-19 campaign.
Former club Athletic Bilbao were linked with a reunion earlier this year, four years after selling the 29-year-old for £29m.
