Football rumours from the media

Is Aaron Ramsey leaving Arsenal after 10 years?

What the papers say

Aaron Ramsey is heading for Juventus, the Guardian says. It reports that the Arsenal midfielder has agreed a five-year, £36million deal due to start at the end of the season. The 28-year-old has spent 10 years at the Emirates but appears set to join Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa in June once the deal is signed.

Liverpool may have to raise £50million if they want to bring James Tarkowski to Anfield, The Sun says. The Reds are on the hunt for a centre-back following the loss of injured Dejan Lovren, and Burnley may be ready to consider a loan deal – if they can get the right price, the paper says.

Tottenham are lining up a move for Sampdoria's Joachim Andersen as a possible replacement for Toby Alderweireld, the Independent says. Alderweireld is being tipped for a move away from Spurs in the summer and 22-year-old Andersen is thought to be the top target.

Meanwhile, Manchester City want to bring Declan Rice to the Etihad as boss Pep Guardiola eyes a young successor for 33-year-old Fernandinho, The Sun says. The 19-year-old recently signed a log-term deal with West Ham but a summer swoop could be a possibility, according to the paper.

Emiliano Sala: Cardiff boss Neil Warnock is said to be in France to make a play for the Nantes striker, but he may have to wait until the weekend to get a firm decision from the 28-year-old forward, according to The Sun.

Nikola Milenkovic: It had been thought Manchester United were hoping to land the Fiorentina defender this month, but the Mirror reports the Serie A side want the £50million-rated player to see out the season in Italy.
