Chelsea have reportedly slapped a £73m price tag on goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois following interest from Real Madrid.
The Belgium international took the number one spot off of Petr Cech at Stamford Bridge this season following three loan campaigns at Atletico Madrid.
According to The Telegraph, Real had Courtois at the top of their goalkeeper wishlist, but after Chelsea scared them off with a staggering figure, the Spanish giants turned their attention to Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea.
It has been reported that the 2014 Champions League winners were prepared to part with £37m for Courtois, but the Blues have insisted that the 23-year-old is not for sale.
Meanwhile, it is believed that Real will table a bid in the region of £22m for De Gea in the coming days.
