Former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has said that he "cannot imagine" Cristiano Ronaldo leaving the Spanish giants.
The Portuguese has netted 323 goals in 309 games for Los Blancos since joining the club from Manchester United in 2009.
The 30-year-old is contracted to his current side until 2018, but has continually been linked with a departure in the last couple of transfer windows.
Ancelotti, however, who had a close relationship with Ronaldo during his time in charge of Real, can see the attacker retiring in Spain.
"He etched his name into the record books at Real Madrid the other day when he equaled Raul's goalscoring record," Ancelotti told Le Parisien.
"I cannot imagine him leaving Real Madrid. I think he will stay at Madrid until the end of his career. Everybody at the club loves him."
During BBC's recent Wayne Rooney documentary, Ronaldo hinted that he could play with the Englishman once again, fuelling talk of a return to Old Trafford.
