Sir Alex Ferguson calls for perfect finish

Sir Alex Ferguson is targeting seven wins from Manchester United's last seven games in the Premier League.

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has called for his side to finish the season with seven wins.

United were beaten by Manchester City last week, but remain 12 points clear of their rivals at the top of the Premier League.

They need just 10 more points from their remaining seven games to be crowned as champions, but Ferguson thinks that they can do much better than that.

"We know what we have to do to win the league, and we've got a group of players who can do that," he said.

"We can win our last seven games, there's no question about that. That's a challenge we have now. The expectation here is to win every game.

"People putting bets on over the weekend see Manchester United as a banker. It doesn't worry me. It's fine, we know what we have to do."

United's next game is away at Stoke City this afternoon.
