Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic has insisted that he does not want to leave the club.
The 25-year-old's future at the Etihad Stadium has been cast in some doubt following Wilfried Bony's arrival from Swansea City.
Despite speculation over his importance at City, Jovetic believes that he still has a role to play under manager Manuel Pellegrini.
When asked if he wants to stay at the club, the Montenegro international told Sky Sports News: "Of course. I've never wanted to go. I have a lot more to prove."
Jovetic has scored five goals in 21 games for the Premier League champions this season.
