Manuel Pellegrini: 'Sergio Aguero won't return against Arsenal'

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini reveals that striker Sergio Aguero requires another week of recovery as he attempts to return from a hamstring injury.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has revealed that there will be no changes to his squad for the trip to Arsenal.

City have been without Aguero and defender Matija Nastasic for their most recent fixtures, and Pellegrini has stated that they are not being considered for the clash at the Emirates Stadium.

The 60-year-old told reporters: "We will see next week how Aguero improves. The squad is the same as last week. Matija Nastasic and Aguero will miss out. Micah Richards and Dedryck Boyata will work here."

City will move six points clear of Arsenal if they can secure a win in North London.
