Manchester City's David Silva 'doubtful for Arsenal clash'

Manchester City's Sergio Aguero could miss this weekend's crunch clash with Arsenal through injury.

Manchester City midfielder David Silva is said to be doubtful for this weekend's vital Premier League meeting with Arsenal.

The Spaniard suffered an ankle injury during his side's 3-0 win over city rivals Manchester United earlier this week and may not recover in time, The Mirror reports.

Silva has been undergoing treatment, and will undergo a last-minute assessment ahead of the game to establish whether he is fit enough to play a part.

City will also be without their top scorer Sergio Aguero, who remains sidelined with a hamstring problem.
