Manchester City playmaker David Silva believes that the North West side can go all the way and win the Champions League in the near future.
The Premier League side need to defeat Bayern Munich on Wednesday while hoping that Napoli stumble against Villarreal in order to reach the knockout stages of the elite competition.
"Last season was a key season for us," Silva told UEFA's official website. "We won our first trophy for 35 years and qualified for the Champions League, claiming a place among the best teams in Europe.
"We're up there with the elite now and this is enabling us to attract winners. These players know how to win, must win and accept nothing else.
"Of course, we've got to do well in the Champions League and we should aim to win it. Why not? I don't think that is out of the question."
Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger thinks that it will be "catastrophic" if Man City, along with Manchester United and Chelsea, do not reach the final 16 of the Champions League.
