James Rodriguez pushing for Liverpool move?

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez is said to be keen on securing a move to Liverpool this summer as Philippe Coutinho's replacement.

Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez is reportedly keen to secure a move to Liverpool this summer.

The 26-year-old is currently six months into a two-year loan deal with Bayern Munich but has been tipped to cut the move short and return to the Bernabeu at the end of the campaign.

According to El Gol Digital, the Colombian is said to have his heart set on a move to England and Anfield is his "preferred destination".

The publication claims that Rodriguez spots an opportunity with the Reds and is keen to fill the void left by Philippe Coutinho, who departed for Barcelona in a £142m deal earlier this month.

Rodriguez has three goals and six assists for Munich in 14 Bundesliga appearances for the side to date.
