Liverpool are reportedly nearing a deal for PEC Zwolle centre-back Sepp van den Berg.
The Netherlands Under-19 international will not turn 18 until later this year but has already made 22 first-team appearances for his Dutch club.
Van den Berg appeared on 15 occasions in the Eredivisie during the 2018-19 campaign under the management of former Manchester United centre-back Jaap Stam.
According to Goal.com, Liverpool are hoping to complete the signing of the teenager, although Bayern Munich, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven and Sampdoria have also all been credited with an interest.
Although largely a centre-back, Van den Berg also played on the right side of the defence for Zwolle last term.
Jurgen Klopp's side, however, will reportedly not be pursuing a deal for Real Betis's Junior Firpo in this summer's transfer window.
