Athletic Bilbao forward Iker Muniain has reportedly decided to commit his future to the club despite rumoured interest from Liverpool.
The 25-year-old's current deal expires next summer, leaving Liverpool hopeful that he could be available for a cut-price fee if they made their move in January.
However, Spanish outlet Marca reports that Muniain is ready to reject any approach from Liverpool and instead pen fresh terms at San Mames.
Muniain has been with Athletic his entire professional career, making his debut for the club as a 16-year-old in 2009 and going on to rack up more than 350 appearances for the first team.
The one-time Spain international, who has also been linked with Napoli, is free to begin talks with clubs outside of Spain in January should a new deal not be agreed before then.
Muniain has scored four goals in nine league appearances for his boyhood club so far this season.
