Liverpool chairman Tom Werner has admitted that he has been impressed with the work that Brendan Rodgers has so far carried out as manager of the club.
Rodgers was appointed to the Anfield helm last month as a replacement for Kenny Dalglish, who was sacked following a disappointing campaign.
Having been in the job for a number of weeks, Rodgers has received some positive feedback from his chairman.
"He's been great and very personable," Werner told the club's official website. "I think that everybody who talks to him feels his enthusiasm and his intelligence and I'm really looking forward to a great season next year."
The Reds are currently in America for a pre-season tour.
