Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has praised his teammate Mamadou Sakho's ability to settle into the team quickly following his deadline day arrival.
The 23-year-old, who left Paris Saint-Germain for Anfield, has pushed into the first team under manager Brendan Rodgers following his debut against Swansea City on September 16.
"He is still young but he's an experienced player," Skrtel told the club's official website. "He's a French international and he's played many games for PSG.
"In the games he has started he has shown how good he is, he's fitted into the team well and he's doing well at the moment.
"I'm happy for him and happy for the team because he is a good player for us. I just hope things carry on this way."
Liverpool are currently second in the Premier League table, level on points with leaders Arsenal.
