Claudio Ranieri hopes for more arrivals at Leicester City

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri wants the signing of N'Golo Kante to be the first of several new arrivals at the East Midlands club.

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has said that he wants the signing of N'Golo Kante to be the first of several new arrivals over the coming weeks.

The Foxes completed the signing of the French midfielder from Caen on Monday for a reported fee of £5.6m.

Leicester followed up that deal by signing Yohan Benalouane from Atalanta BC, and Ranieri is confident that the club will bring in more quality before the transfer window closes.

"I am very confident and not frustrated," he told the Leicester Mercury.

"I know the club is working very well and very soon arrive some good players."

Leicester have reportedly failed with bids to sign Gokhan Inler and Charles Aranguiz.
