Cagliari Calcio president Massimo Cellino, who is allegedly close to purchasing Leeds United, is interested in signing striker Daniele Cacia from Hellas Verona, according to a report.
Cellino is eyeing the 30-year-old forward as a potential partner for Ross McCormack, as Leeds look to make a return to the Premier League, according to Tuttomercatoweb.
Cacia, who has stated that he wants to stay at Verona until the end of his contract which ends this summer, has also been linked with a move to MLS team Toronto FC, who have recently signed striker Jermain Defoe from Tottenham Hotspur.
Leeds currently occupy 12th place in the Championship.
