Andrea Stramaccioni says that he will not return to coach Inter Milan's youth team should Massimo Moratti not give him the permanent role as head coach at the San Siro.

Inter Milan head coach Andrea Stramaccioni has ruled out returning to coach the club's youth team at the end of the season.

The 36-year-old was handed the reins at the Nerazzurri following Claudio Ranieri's sacking in March.

Stramaccioni said that he is unsure of his future at the club but believes that president Massimo Moratti may have already made his mind up.

"President Massimo Moratti is free to choose what he thinks is best and I think he's already made a decision," Stramaccioni told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"I won't go back to the youth team. I could have spent a second season with them had all of this not happened this term. In terms of my own personal development, it would not be right for me to go back there."

Stramaccioni has helped guide Inter to sixth in Serie A.
